We can perform Scanning Near Field Ultrasound Holography (SNFUH) on a variety of hard and soft materials and can provide our interpretation of the SNFUH phase image. List of hard materials includes: semiconducting materials, structures, interfaces, devices and integrated circuits; stress migration in micromechanical devices, visco-elastic properties of low k-dielectric and polymeric materials as well as hybrid nanostructures. List of soft materials include: biological specimens such as viruses, bacteria; non-invasive imaging of sub- cellular features, tracking of nano particles inside the cells; quantitative nano-bio mechanics of tissues, bones and sub-cellular features.
